Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to any changes in patient status
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to create and adjust care plans
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications and discharge instructions
• Document patient assessments, interventions and outcomes thoroughly

Qualifications

• Active RN license with successful License/Certificate Verification
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC and NIHSS certifications
• Previous med-surg or telemetry nursing experience is helpful
• Willing to complete compliance requirements including drug screen, physical and required immunizations

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Patient assessment and clinical critical thinking
• IV therapy and medication administration
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate patient education and advocacy
• Accurate documentation and EHR proficiency
