Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients
• Assess patient respiratory status and develop individualized care plans
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and ventilator support
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with clinical standards

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• Current BLS certification (ACLS or PALS preferred)
• NBRC credential (CRT or RRT)
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong clinical and critical-thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of respiratory therapy modalities and equipment
• Oxygen delivery systems, nebulizers, and mechanical ventilators
• Patient assessment and monitoring techniques
• Accurate electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Effective communication and collaboration in fast-paced settings
