Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate respiratory care to pediatric patients
• Assess and monitor respiratory status and respond to changes
• Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and airway management
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment
• Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Respiratory Therapist license required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required
• Current BLS certification required; PALS preferred
• Pediatric or hospital respiratory experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently in a per diem role

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and modalities
• Compassionate and clear communicator with patients and families
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
• Proficient with electronic health records
