Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based respiratory care to patients of all ages
• Assess, treat, and monitor critical and non-critical patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and adjust respiratory care plans
• Administer respiratory therapies, airway management, and diagnostic procedures
• Document patient responses and outcomes accurately in PointClick EMR
• Respond quickly and effectively to respiratory emergencies

Qualifications

• Current RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Active Oregon Respiratory Care License
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Two years of clinical respiratory care experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of cardiopulmonary anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
• Skilled in ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway clearance techniques
• Proficient with PointClick EMR
• Critical thinking and quick decision-making in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working with diverse patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
