Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate respiratory care to patients of all ages
• Administer respiratory treatments and diagnostic procedures with precision
• Assess and monitor cardiopulmonary status of critical and non-critical patients
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create personalized care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment strategies
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (Point Click)

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Respiratory Care License required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC required
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required (specific to this location)
• Two years of clinical experience in respiratory care preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of cardiopulmonary physiology and respiratory care techniques
• Skilled in patient assessment and critical thinking
• Proficient with electronic medical records (Point Click)
• Comfortable working with diverse patient populations across all age groups
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Adaptable to a fast-paced hospital environment
