Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias with precision
Provide compassionate care to patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-cath needs
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float to East Campus and PCU when qualified to support facility needs
Document assessments and interventions accurately using Cerner
Support patients recovering from total joint replacements with expert nursing care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts
Experience reading basic telemetry strips and caring for CVA/TIA patients
Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation
Total joint replacement experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Dysrhythmia recognition and response
Care coordination for cardiac, respiratory, and post-surgical patients
BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatment support
Effective communication within a collaborative care team
