Registered Nurse - Surgery Trauma
Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Flexible shifts including 16hr Day, Evening, Night, and Holidays; must be willing to work given shifts, no block schedules
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-acuity care to spinal neuro trauma and surgical patients including gunshot wounds, quads, and paraplegics
- Collaborate with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries for seamless teamwork
- Complete thorough nurse handoffs from ED and admitting units to ensure patient safety
- Manage 5:1 patient ratios with confidence and compassion
- Adapt to dynamic trauma cases making a real difference in recovery journeys
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in surgery trauma specialty
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- EPIC experience required
- Willingness to work assigned shifts with no RTO
Education
- RN licensure required
