Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor patients closely and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, including chemotherapy, as ordered
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create personalized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and recovery
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Active RN license
• Oncology experience preferred, especially with chemotherapy administration
• Completion of ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course ideal

Knowledge & Skills

• Chemotherapy administration
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course knowledge
• Progressive care monitoring and assessment skills
• Oncology patient care experience
• BLS and ACLS certified
