Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, specialized care to pediatric patients in the PICU
• Monitor and assess critical conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Communicate with families, providing education and emotional support
• Respond quickly to emergencies and changes in patient status

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Current BLS certification
• PALS certification required
• Previous experience in pediatric critical care or PICU preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of pediatric medications and dosages
• Familiarity with ventilators, monitors, and other ICU equipment
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in high-stress situations
• Compassionate and empathetic patient care approach
