Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for neuro stepdown patients
• Monitor and assess neurological status, recognizing changes promptly
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Educate patients and families on recovery and care strategies
• Document patient progress with precision and compassion

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
• Neuro stepdown or critical care experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic patient care environment

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of neurological assessments and monitoring
• Skilled in cardiac and neuro telemetry
• Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing setting
