Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized, compassionate care to pediatric intensive care patients
• Continuously assess patient status and intervene in critical situations
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments with precision
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Support and educate families, keeping them informed and involved
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and document care promptly

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts (or compact where applicable)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience in pediatric critical care or PICU strongly preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of pediatric critical care and assessment
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (e.g., Epic or Cerner)
• Excellent critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
• Compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
