Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and operate specialized equipment
• Support and educate families during complex medical journeys
• Document patient progress accurately and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate with multidisciplinary specialists

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Massachusetts or compact state
• BLS and PALS certification required
• Previous PICU or pediatric critical care experience strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compassionate environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with pediatric medication dosing and IV therapy
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable with electronic health records and monitoring technology
• Adaptable and composed in emergencies
