Shift Type: Four 10-hour day shifts per week with rotating evening/night/weekend call. Call generally includes 1 weekend (Friday 7:00 PM - Monday 7:00 AM) and 4-5 weeknight shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) per 8-week schedule.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care to patients during the intraoperative phase of surgery
• Circulate and scrub for a wide variety of procedures including robotics, general, ortho, brain/spine, OB-GYN, ENT, and more
• Collaborate with a dynamic surgical team in a Level III trauma center with state-of-the-art suites
• Assist with specialized surgeries using advanced technology like DaVinci, Mako, and Stealth
• Participate in rotating call coverage to ensure seamless 24/7 surgical care
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment and uphold the highest standards of perioperative nursing

Qualifications

• Active CO RN License or Compact RN License in good standing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 3 years of experience in perioperative or operating room nursing
• Experience with both circulating and scrubbing in the OR
• Ability to take call on evenings/nights/weekends on a rotating basis

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of perioperative nursing principles and intraoperative care
• Proficient in OR circulation and sterile technique
• Comfortable working with robotic surgical platforms and advanced surgical equipment
• Knowledge of surgical specialties including ortho, neuro, spine, robotics, general, and gynecology
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and emergency cases
