Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized, compassionate nursing care to neonates in the NICU
• Monitor patients closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments according to care plans
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Support and educate families, keeping them informed and involved in their baby's care
• Document accurately in Epic and use OBix, Voalte, and Hugs to enhance communication

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Michigan (or compact state)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Experience with Epic, OBix, Voalte, and Hugs is a plus
• NICU clinical experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Neonatal assessment and critical-care skills
• Proficiency with Epic, OBix, Voalte, and Hugs
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to prioritize in fast-paced situations
• Excellent communication and family-centered care approach
• Commitment to safety, infection control, and evidence-based practice
