Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert neuro-critical care to patients with complex neurological conditions
Monitor and manage ICP levels and external ventricular drains with precision
Collaborate with a world-renowned neurosurgical team at Barrow Neurological Institute
Float between ICU and Telemetry units to support dynamic patient needs
Deliver compassionate, high-acuity care to trauma and post-operative neuro patients
Maintain sterile technique during procedures and uphold the highest safety standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a large Level 1 Trauma facility
Strong neuro assessment skills and hands-on EVD experience
At least 3-6 months of recent travel nursing experience
Ability to pass pre-employment skills exams and SIMs Lab evaluations

Knowledge & Skills

Neuro assessment and ICP monitoring expertise
Ventilator management and Phillips telemetry monitoring
Cerner EMR documentation proficiency
Comfortable floating between ICU and Telemetry units
Strong sterile field technique and infection prevention practices
