Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population
• Monitor telemetry and analyze heart rhythms for early detection of changes
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate changes to the healthcare team

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or compact state (or willingness to obtain)
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience in Med/Surg/Telemetry nursing practice preferred
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and telemetry monitoring
• Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and detecting abnormalities
• Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
