Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, alerting the care team to any changes
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and care
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to create effective care plans
• Educate patients and families on their conditions and recovery plans

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or a compact nursing license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience in med/surg and telemetry nursing preferred
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices
• Skilled in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Proficient in electronic health records and documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
