Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs with keen attention to changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to create effective care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient information thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or a compact state
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior med/surg or acute care nursing experience is highly valued
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of med/surg nursing principles and best practices
• Patient assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking
• Safe medication administration and IV therapy
• Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
