Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care within the RN scope of practice
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapy, oxygen, and blood products with precision
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and communicate effectively with providers
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EHR
• Serve as a mentor to fellow nursing staff and support continuous learning

Qualifications

• Bring at least 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Previous travel nurse experience is a must
• Current Colorado RN license, or ability to obtain one, in good standing
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS required or obtainable within 3 months)
• Proficiency with Cerner EHR is required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Graduate of an accredited RN program

• SBAR communication for effective handoffs
