Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on a busy Med/Surg surgical unit
• Specialize in caring for patients with urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular needs
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and implement care plans
• Document accurately in EPIC and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Georgia or compact NLC license)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• EPIC proficiency required
• Current BLS certification
• Must provide resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, skills checklist, references, certification card, and Nursys license verification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in EPIC electronic health record
• Knowledge of post-surgical and med/surg patient care
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to care for diverse patient populations including urology, gyn, ortho, trauma, ENT, and vascular
