Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for medical-surgical patients with compassion and skill
• Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient responses
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
• Document patient progress accurately and advocate for the best possible outcomes
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and adapt to a dynamic environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in medical-surgical or acute care nursing preferred
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of med-surg nursing standards and best practices
• Proficient in electronic health records and charting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
