Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adaptability to quickly changing patient conditions and unit needs
