Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend or 1 weekend based on seniority, 2 - 12 hour call shifts every 4 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery patients, making a real difference in new family journeys
Circulate and scrub in the OR for cesarean sections, showcasing your surgical savvy
Titrate essential drips like Pitocin and Labetalol to manage high-stakes obstetrical emergencies
Monitor fetal strips using GE Centricity and telemetry, ensuring safety every step of the way
Collaborate with OB techs, charge nurses, and supervisors in a supportive closed unit environment

Qualifications

Active RN license (OR license pending okay with 90-day emergency option)
2+ years of L&D experience
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Stable
Ready to dive into a unit handling 850-900 births annually

Education

BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in LDRP care, hypertension, hemorrhage, and obstetrical emergencies
Proficiency with vents, bubble CPAP, and EFM systems
Comfortable titrating drips and reading fetal strips independently
OR skills for circulating or scrubbing C-sections
