Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery
• Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs, responding with confidence to any changes
• Support and guide new parents through the postpartum recovery journey
• Deliver expert newborn care and education, ensuring a healthy start for every baby
• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to create a safe, compassionate environment
• Document patient care accurately using Point Click EMR system

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or a compact state license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, or Mother-Baby care
• Current BLS/BCLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Experience with Point Click EMR is a plus
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotate weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in labor and delivery nursing practices
• Strong postpartum and newborn assessment skills
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring and interpretation
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Comfortable working in a critical access hospital environment
• Adaptability and quick thinking in dynamic situations
