Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period
• Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure safe deliveries for babies 32 weeks and up
• Support couplet care and assist in the OR and PACU as needed
• Lead as charge nurse and mentor team members in a Pathway to Excellence designated facility
• Promote a patient-centered experience that aligns with Valley View's mission of convenient, connected care
• Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, high-delivery environment while maintaining excellent clinical expertise

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license or compact license
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• NRP and STABLE certifications required
• At least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Previous charge nurse experience a must
• Flu vaccine required or willingness to obtain by 10/31/25

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in labor and delivery, postpartum care, OR, and PACU
• Experience with couplet care and newborn assessment
• Ability to work rotating weekends and call shifts
• Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice and commitment to quality care
