Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and monitor hemodynamics
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to achieve optimal outcomes
• Support and educate patients and families during critical moments
• Document patient progress accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Active Louisiana RN license (or compact) in good standing
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification required
• ICU experience preferred
• Ability to think critically and act quickly in emergencies

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Expertise with ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions
