Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult and pediatric patients over 15 years old in a fast-paced Med Surg ICU
Titrate critical drips including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics to support patient stability
Monitor and interpret telemetry using Draeger heart monitoring systems while collaborating with centralized telemetry teams
Collaborate with attendings, fellows, and residents to deliver exceptional, team-based care across neuro, cardiac, and surgical populations
Float to inpatient units as needed (excluding Maternity/NICU) to support system-wide patient care excellence

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
Valid driver's license at time of submittal
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90% score during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and centralized monitoring
Drip titration for vasopressors, paralytics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Equipment experience with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Familiarity with neuro surgery, CRRT, Impella, balloon pump, and ICP monitoring (training available)
Strong critical thinking, positive attitude, and collaborative spirit
