Location: Centennial, Colorado

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care nursing across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Titrate life-saving medications including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics with precision
Interpret telemetry strips and respond swiftly to cardiac changes
Float throughout the 60-mile zone to support facilities in need while delivering consistent, high-quality care
Collaborate with respiratory therapists and intensivists to optimize patient outcomes
Mentor new travelers and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience; first-time travelers need 3+ years plus Epic experience
Comfortable with drip titration and managing high-acuity patients on CRRT, IABP, or Impella

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making in fast-paced ICU settings
Proficient with Epic electronic health record system
Telemetry interpretation and ventilator management experience
Adaptable and ready to float across multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius
