Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional critical care to diverse ICU patients across multiple specialties
Titrate life-saving medications including pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics with precision
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while providing expert ventilator management
Float throughout the Zone 1 region to support patients at various acuity levels
Collaborate with dedicated respiratory therapists and interdisciplinary teams
Provide compassionate one-on-one care for high-acuity patients on advanced therapies

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact nursing license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
Epic experience preferred for first-time travelers
Comfortable floating within a 60-mile radius zone

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care nursing across MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU settings
Proficient with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen systems
Skilled in interpreting telemetry strips and managing complex drips
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Adaptable to floating between ICU, PCU, and med-surg telemetry units
