Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond quickly to changes in condition with compassionate care
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and life support treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Operate and interpret advanced monitoring equipment with precision
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during challenging moments
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed medical records

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in Iowa or a compact state
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience in an ICU or critical care setting is strongly preferred
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of critical care nursing practices
• Proficiency in patient assessment and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
