Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population across ICU, MedSurg Tele, and PCU units
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, titrate intravenous drips, and respond to changing patient conditions
• Float between two campuses to support staffing needs and ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, high-quality care
• Manage post-procedural patients, including post-cardiac catheterization and CABG patients
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or a compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an ICU setting
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Comfortable titrating drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
• IV drip titration and management
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication skills for floating between units and campuses
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Proficiency with electronic health records (Cerner)
