Location: Breckenridge, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients in a Trauma Level IV setting
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver timely interventions for STEMI and stroke patients
Float between ER and Med/Surg Swing beds to support seamless patient transitions
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret strips to ensure patient safety
Administer medications and perform procedures while maintaining excellent clinical standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of ER experience plus previous Med/Surg experience
Ability to work rotating day/night 12-hour shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
Comfortable floating between ER and Med/Surg Swing units
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficient with Mindray telemetry monitors
Experience with trauma, STEMI, and stroke protocols
