Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, varied start times, no block scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Cover all three phases of endoscopy care including pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery
Administer and monitor MAC sedation and procedural sedation for patients
Circulate during MAC cases and serve as sedator during procedural sedation cases
Perform bedside procedures in the ER and ICU when needed
Recover intubated patients before transferring to PACU
Participate in call rotation with 30-minute response time
Travel between two nearby campuses as needed

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of endoscopy or procedural experience
Experience with procedural sedation required
Call experience required
Ability to work varied shifts and participate in call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of endoscopy procedures including EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, bronchs, EUS, and PEG placements
Skilled in procedural sedation monitoring and recovery
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with 5-25 procedures daily
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
Flexible and adaptable to varied start times and call schedules
