Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for high-acuity cardiac surgery patients including CABG recovery, IABP, and ECMO support
Monitor and manage patients requiring CRRT, lung transplants, and thoracic procedures
Perform bedside procedures such as bronchoscopies, Swan-Ganz catheter placements, and epidurals
Float to other ICUs and Telemetry units while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Collaborate with intensivists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of ICU experience with CVICU experience strongly preferred
Level I Trauma experience required
CCRN certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong IV skills and sterile technique
Experience with cardiac surgery recovery and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with two attempts
Comfortable floating between ICU and Telemetry units
Proficient with Cerner electronic medical record system
