Shift Type: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM; rotating on-call 4-5 weekday nights per 6-week schedule and every 10-11th weekend

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and recover patients undergoing cath lab and EP lab procedures
• Monitor telemetry and provide comprehensive pre/post procedure nursing care
• Assist with IR, invasive CT, and invasive ultrasound cases
• Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team in a 24-bed unit
• Provide patient and family education throughout the procedure journey
• Maintain a calm, compassionate environment for critical and procedural patients

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU or ED experience
• Previous IR or moderate sedation experience preferred
• Experience with cardiac and vascular patient populations preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac diagnosis, including vascular patients, IVDA, chest tubes, and CVA
• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and pre/post procedure care
• Comfortable with Cerner documentation
• Experience with invasive CT, invasive ultrasound, and IR procedures a plus
• Ability to provide moderate sedation safely
