Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, to aid in patient diagnosis
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging exams
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate results
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure proper operation
• Document patient information and imaging records accurately
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
• Active Oregon state license as a Radiologic Technologist
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Previous experience in radiology, preferably in a hospital setting
• Excellent patient care and communication skills

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in radiographic positioning and techniques
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection
• Ability to operate radiographic equipment and picture archiving systems (PACS)
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy
• Attention to detail and accuracy
