Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends. Night: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (12-hour) typically scheduled as 3 or 4 shifts per week (alternating 3 one week / 4 the next). Day: 10-hour shifts with variable starts (6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM). Weekend coverage required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality general X-ray studies across ED, inpatient and outpatient areas to support timely patient care
• Operate fluoroscopy, C-arm and portable X-ray equipment safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with on-site radiologists and care teams to prioritize urgent imaging needs
• Accurately document exams and patient information in EPIC and manage images in Fuji Synapse/PACS
• Maintain radiation safety and follow departmental protocols; ensure proper use of radiation badge supplied by the agency
• Provide compassionate patient positioning, preparation and education to reduce repeat imaging and improve outcomes
• Adhere to infection control and quality assurance standards to support a safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant radiology experience (fluoroscopy, general X-ray, C-arm and portable experience required)
• Comfortable using EPIC and PACS/Fuji Synapse systems
• Ability to be in-state for the week of orientation and meet a 60-mile radius requirement (driver's license must be submitted)
• Ability to work rotating schedules including nights and weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluoroscopy techniques and safety
• General radiographic positioning and protocols
• C-arm operation and mobile/portable X-ray proficiency
• Experience with EPIC charting and Fuji Synapse/PACS image management
• Familiarity with GE radiology equipment
• Strong patient communication, triage and clinical teamwork skills
• Radiation safety practices and badge monitoring
