Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
- Document patient services accurately and in a timely manner
- Supervise and guide Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in line with state practice acts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
- Active state Physical Therapy license in Mississippi, or the ability to obtain one
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
- Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs
- New graduates and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply
Education
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient evaluation and physical therapy assessment
- Treatment plan development and implementation
- Direct patient care and functional mobility training
- Accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Supervision of PTAs and rehab technicians
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and family communication
- Regulatory compliance and infection control practices
