Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' mobility, strength and functional needs to create targeted treatment plans
• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions that promote recovery and independence
• Demonstrate and teach therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques to patients and caregivers
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record to support coordinated care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes
• Provide patient and family education that empowers self-management and continued recovery

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington or eligible for licensure
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; related degrees considered
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and clear documentation practices
• Professional, compassionate communicator with a team-first mindset

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
• Bachelor's or Master's in physical therapy or related field accepted

Knowledge & Skills

• Musculoskeletal and neuromuscular assessment
• Therapeutic exercise prescription and progression
• Manual therapy and hands-on treatment techniques
• Safe patient handling and mobility training
• Proficient documentation and charting in EMR systems
• Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
