Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions including gait training, therapeutic exercises, and activities
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech system
• Collaborate with a cohesive team of PTs, PTAs, and office coordinators to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adapt quickly to a fast-paced unit and independently manage a caseload of 8-10 patients per day
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety strategies

Qualifications

• Active Florida Physical Therapy license required
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred
• Ability to hit the ground running and learn new documentation systems quickly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to thrive in a positive, team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Meditech or willingness to learn
• Strong skills in evaluations, treatment planning, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Quick learner adaptable to new protocols and equipment
• Knowledge of walkers, crutches, braces, and wheelchairs
