Physical Therapist Assistant - Travel
Location: Wichita Falls, TX
Start Date: 08-05-2026
End Date: 11-04-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist to help patients regain mobility and achieve their goals
- Accurately document patient progress and responses to treatment
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safety practices
- Collaborate with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team to optimize treatment plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment by adhering to infection control and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license or ability to obtain one
- Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and therapeutic interventions
- Skill in patient education and developing home exercise programs
- Understanding of infection control and compliance standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
