Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions according to the PT plan of care
• Document patient progress and treatment responses
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status and concerns to the supervising PT
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards
• Support patients in restoring mobility and achieving treatment goals

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols
• Understanding of treatment plan adherence
• Experience with therapy interventions
• Proficiency in documentation
• Patient education and home exercise program instruction
• Interdisciplinary collaboration
