Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing personalized treatment plans
• Help residents improve mobility, function, and quality of life through therapeutic exercises
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to skilled nursing residents
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Mexico
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach
• Ability to work under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to document accurately and maintain patient records
• Team player who collaborates effectively with other healthcare professionals
• Time management and organizational skills
