Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing function
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
• Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home practice strategies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Maryland
• Certification by the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
