Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for every patient
• Assist the orthodontist during exams and procedures, including bracket placement, wire changes, and retainer fittings
• Take dental radiographs and intraoral scans with accuracy and a gentle touch
• Teach patients about oral hygiene, braces care, and post-appointment instructions
• Keep patient records organized and up to date in the practice management system
• Help manage appointment flow so each visit runs smoothly and on time

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification is required
• Dental Assisting experience, preferably in an orthodontic setting
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working the 1:30 PM - 9:00 PM shift
• Friendly, patient-focused communication style
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
