Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate respiratory care to pediatric patients
- Assess and monitor patient respiratory status and respond to changes
- Administer breathing treatments, medications, and airway clearance therapies
- Assist with ventilator management and emergency airway support
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
- Document care thoroughly and educate patients and families on respiratory health
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Respiratory Therapist licensure (or eligibility)
- BLS certification required; PALS preferred
- Pediatric respiratory care experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including rotating schedules
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and therapeutic modalities
- Understanding of pediatric pulmonary conditions and treatment plans
- Skill in patient and family education
- Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate documentation
