Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout their visit
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed
• Provide excellent patient care and education on orthodontic treatments
• Maintain accurate patient records and support the flow of the clinic

Qualifications

• Certified Orthodontic Assistant (COA) or equivalent certification
• Experience in orthodontic assisting and familiarity with dental procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and equipment
• Proficiency in dental software and charting
• Understanding of sterilization protocols and infection control
• Team player with a positive attitude
