Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately to support patient care
• Assist pharmacists with order verification and medication management
• Maintain detailed inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize medication safety
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license from the PA State Board of Pharmacy (or trainee license)
• At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Hospital pharmacy operations and workflows
• Medication preparation and distribution techniques
• Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems and automated dispensing
• Knowledge of federal and state pharmacy regulations
• Mathematical skills for dosage calculations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
