Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Take and record vital signs, and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding while respecting each resident's dignity
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
• Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Must bring a state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus
• A compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic resident care procedures and safety protocols
• Skill in using electronic health records or paper charting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly to resident needs
• Understanding of HIPAA and resident confidentiality
