Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM; weekend on-call and 10-11 days of call per month required

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process
• Circulate for orthopedic, OB-GYN, general, urology, and ophthalmic procedures
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards
• Ensure the operating room is prepared and patient safety is prioritized
• Document patient care and procedure details accurately
• Adhere to medical center policies and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Previous OR circulating experience required
• Experience in ortho, OB-GYN, and general surgery required
• Urology and ophthalmic experience preferred
• Prior travel experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• OR circulating expertise
• Orthopedic, OB-GYN, and general surgery knowledge
• Comfort with urology and ophthalmic procedures
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
